Congratulation on your newborn infant! We know having a new baby at home is a challenging time and we want to make this as easy for you as possible. Thank you for allowing us to help you accomplish your goals for breastfeeding you newborn. The following questions will help us know how to help you and once completed we will prepare the milk for you as soon as possible.

The UAMS Milk Bank is open Monday - Friday 8am-4pm except state approved holidays.

Felicitaciones por su bebé recién nacido! Sabemos que tener un nuevo bebé en casa es un memento difícil y queremos ponérselo lo más fácil posible. Gracias por permitirnos ayudarla a lograr sus objetivos para amamantar a su recién nacido. Las siguientes preguntas nos ayudarán a saber cómo ayudarte y una vez completadas te preparemos la lecho lo antes posible.

This form is to request a small amount of fully approved pasteurized donor human milk. Donor milk is intended to be used in addition to breastfeeding as a supplement when your baby needs a little extra food. Once thawed each bottle of 120 ml of donor milk is good for 48 hours then should be discarded. We encourage families to use small amounts after a breastfeed, 10-15 ml. This will help you be able to use a 4 ounce bottle for several extra feedings over 1-2 days.

Este formulario es para solicitar una pequeña cantidad de leche humana donada pasteurizada totalmente aprobada. La leche de donante está destinada a utilizarse además de la lactancia materna como complemento cuando su bebé necesita un poco de comida extra. Una vez descongelado, cada biberón de 120 ml de leche donada dura 48 horas y luego debe desecharse. Animamos a las familias a utilizar pequeñas cantidades después de la lactancia, 10-15 ml. Esto le ayudará a poder utilizar un biberón de 4 onzas para varias tomas adicionales durante 1 o 2 días.

Donor milk to Grow is sold in packs of 4 or 6 bottles.

The cost is $48.60 for 4 bottles or $68.60 for 6 bottles. DMTG comes packaged in frozen sealed bottles with labels. The bottles are packed securely in a reusable UAMS Milk Bank cold pack with ice packs.
There are times that we have to unfortunately limit the total number of bottles purchased to 20 due to the amount available, we will let you know if there is a limitation in number you can order.

We will contact you once we have received and packed your order to confirm pick up or delivery. Please call us if you have questions.
